Terms of service

These Terms of Service form a legal agreement between you and the provider and operator of the AskScope service, referred to as “AskScope,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” They govern your access to and use of the AskScope website, software, reports, monitoring, content workflows, and related services. By creating an account, selecting a plan, clicking an acceptance control, or using AskScope, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use AskScope for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must provide accurate, complete, and current account information. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

An account is for your own or your organization's internal business use. You may not sell, rent, transfer, sublicense, or share access outside your authorized team without written permission. You may not create accounts or access the service using unauthorized bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated means.

2. The AskScope service

AskScope provides prompt generation and management, AI visibility monitoring, competitor and citation analysis, reports, recommendations, prioritized optimization tasks, content creation, connected third-party publishing and distribution workflows, and retesting. Available prompts, AI platforms, monitoring frequency, limits, and automated capabilities depend on the plan you select.

We may improve, update, replace, add, or remove parts of the service and supported integrations. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid subscription, where practical or legally required.

3. AI results, monitoring, and recommendations

AI-generated answers may change because of prompt wording, platform or model behavior, time, location, personalization, source availability, and other conditions outside AskScope's control. AskScope reports observations made under defined monitoring conditions and helps compare results over time. We do not guarantee any ranking, recommendation, citation, publication, traffic, lead, revenue, or other business outcome.

Reports, recommendations, tasks, content briefs, and generated articles support your judgment but do not replace professional, legal, regulatory, or editorial review. You are responsible for reviewing accuracy, claims, permissions, suitability, and brand fit before acting on, submitting, or publishing generated material.

4. Your content and instructions

You retain ownership of brand information, websites, prompts, source materials, instructions, drafts, and other content you submit to AskScope. You grant AskScope a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, transform, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for retained backups, de-identified information, and records we must keep by law.

You confirm that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to provide the content and instruct AskScope to process, analyze, distribute, submit, or publish it. You remain responsible for claims, disclosures, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, platform rules, and other requirements associated with content you approve or publish.

5. Third-party platforms and distribution

AskScope may interact with AI platforms, publishing tools, self-media channels, payment providers, media networks, and other third-party services. Their terms and policies also apply to your use of them. AskScope does not control their availability, output, source selection, ranking systems, editorial standards, or publication decisions.

A connected workflow may prepare, submit, schedule, or publish content according to your settings and approvals. Independent publishers and media outlets control final review and publication, so submission or distribution does not guarantee publication, recommendation, or citation.

6. Plans, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

The Free plan begins after registration and includes 40 prompts, daily ChatGPT monitoring, and analysis for seven days without requiring a credit card. Paid Starter and Professional plans are offered on monthly or annual billing periods. Current prices, limits, features, taxes, and billing terms are displayed on the pricing page and during checkout.

Paid subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically for the billing period you select unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize AskScope and its payment provider to charge the applicable subscription price and taxes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and paid access continues until then.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated during purchase, payments are final and non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, unused access, or unused plan capacity. We may change future prices or plan features. A price change for an existing subscription will take effect no earlier than the next renewal after reasonable notice, allowing you to cancel before it applies.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use AskScope to:

• violate any law, regulation, third-party right, contract, or platform rule;
• create, distribute, or promote unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, harmful, or malicious content;
• access an account, service, system, or data without authorization;
• interfere with security or operation, bypass usage limits, introduce malware, or overload the service;
• scrape, crawl, index, probe, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service except where law expressly permits it;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or its data as a standalone competing service without written permission; or
• misrepresent AI observations, recommendations, generated content, or third-party publication as guaranteed or independently verified by AskScope.

We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation, protect users or systems, prevent harm, comply with law, or resolve non-payment.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

AskScope and its licensors own the service, software, interface, documentation, trademarks, and related intellectual property, excluding your content and third-party content. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use AskScope during authorized access. No other rights are granted.

If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback, you allow AskScope to use it without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not publicly identify you without permission.

9. Privacy and data

Our collection and use of personal information are described in the AskScope Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You are responsible for obtaining any notice, consent, or lawful basis required for information you instruct AskScope to process.

10. Service availability, suspension, and force majeure

We aim to operate a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance or suspend access to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or prevent harm. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

AskScope is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, legal or policy changes, cyberattacks, widespread telecommunications, cloud, power, internet, AI-platform, or third-party service failures.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AskScope is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AskScope will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, content, or data, arising from or related to the service. AskScope's aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid AskScope during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AskScope, its affiliates, and their personnel from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, content or instructions you provide, or infringement of another person's rights.

14. Term and termination

These Terms apply from acceptance until terminated. You may stop using AskScope and cancel a subscription as described above. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, non-payment, risk of harm, unlawful use, or when continued service would violate law. On termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute terms—remain effective.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the AskScope service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim that cannot be resolved informally will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre under its rules in force when the arbitration begins. The seat of arbitration is Singapore, the tribunal consists of one arbitrator, and the language is English. The award is final and binding. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, our business, or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

17. General terms

These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. You may not assign this agreement without written consent. AskScope may assign it to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
