When AI quotes the wrong delivery promise in a new market

A buyer needs a replacement part by Friday. Your site says “next-day delivery” and the AI answer repeats it. The product is right and the buyer is ready; the problem is that the next-day warehouse serves another country. A global brand mention hides a very local reason to lose the order.

Hold the product constant

Choose one model and two destinations. Ask the equivalent question about that model in each language, explicitly naming the destination. Save the delivery wording, cited page, currency and service area. In a hypothetical comparison, a warranty document covering both countries does not prove that next-day delivery covers both.

Change the local evidence

Put the supported area beside the service promise on the relevant regional page. Link the global product page to local terms rather than making the reader infer which terms apply. Retest with the original destinations and one outside the service area. An accurate answer for the unsupported location is a useful success condition too.

Write the sentence a distributor can quote

A usable service note names the dispatch point, destination and cutoff. For example: “Orders for stocked parts received before noon ship the same day from our Singapore depot; delivery to other markets needs a local estimate.” That is sample wording, not a shipping promise. Ask a local rep to replace every condition with one the team can actually meet.
